Project Name: Wiconisco Waste Water Treatment Plant

Project Location: Wiconisco, PA (Dauphin Co.)

Project Details:

BlueWing installed a new 200 square foot floating island containing 8 solar panels capable of powering 5 - 3700 GPM bilge pumps. These pumps mounted on the back side of the solar island pump sewage onto three existing 250 square foot islands maximizing infiltration and contact time with the islands, the matrix and the plant material. It is the ultimate goal of the WWTP to go “offline” using strictly solar power for all treatment.
