Environmental Leadership Forum Showcases Emerging Water Technologies Helping to Meet New Regulations |

Easton, Maryland - March 25, 2010. On Wednesday, over 60 attendees from business, government and academia came to the Easton Club in Talbot County, Maryland to hear about relevant technologies and applications that can help address the region's wastewater needs. The forum was organized by the Maryland-Asia Environmental Partnership (MD-AEP) and Talbot County's Office of Economic Development, sponsored by I.M. Systems Group as part of MD-AEP's Environmental Leadership Series.

11/21/09 – Annapolis floating “wetland” could help restore the bay.
Annapolis intends to test a floating island in a local lagoon that, if successful, could help clean the water in the Chesapeake Bay, according to Mayor Ellen O. Moyer...
...The floating island, which would absorb nutrients from the water, will be tested in a lagoon in Back Creek Nature Park. (read more) |

BlueWing project featured in initiatives to comply with Obama's Bay Cleanup Executive order |

Annapolis, MD (11-20-09) Mayor Ellen Moyer reaffirmed Annapolis' firm commitment to comply with President Obama's recent Executive Order regarding the restoration of the Chesapeake Bay.
The Mayor was joined by Environmental Protection Agency Director of the Chesapeake Bay Program Jeff Lape, Maryland Department of Natural Resources Chesapeake & Coastal Watershed Services Director Jeff Horan and U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service Supervisor Leo Miranda along with members of the Annapolis Environmental Commission.
Mayor Moyer announced three initiatives directly related to the President’s Executive Order that control pollution flowing to the Chesapeake Bay and protects wildlife habitats in the region.

It made sense as we share common goals with USGBC by enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy, and prosperous environment that improves the quality of life.
